Preparation for Building work:

The Whirlow Board of Directors have given the go-ahead for phased development of the Centre and for the application for planning permission.

Phase 1 will include refurbishment of the chapel and the building of key facilities for the centre (toilets, coffee bar, and plant / store room). This has a budget of £200,000 and is scheduled for 2008.

Phase 1.1 will be to provide a temporary meeting room (portakabin) while fund-raising continues towards phase 2.

Phase 2 will be the round meeting room.

The Architect Dominic Lockett is has virtually completed the design of the whole project.

Phase 1 is due to be completed this year.

Can you help?

  • If you have not made a donation yet, could you make one now?
  • Has your parish signed up as a Church Associate of the Spirituality Centre by making or promising a gift of £250 or more this year? If not, can you encourage them to do so?
